Matrimony on the Horizon

"When I said I would die a bachelor, I did not think I should live till I were married."

Sometimes things happen.

And I'm getting married.

I feel like this announcement may be slightly overdue, but that's probably just because of the speed that Facebook adds to any public relationship. We've been engaged for just a week, but already people are asking for invitations to the ceremony. I'm working on that, I promise!

So for years I've been saying that I would probably never get married(like Benedick), because for most of my life the reality was that I would probably never get married. And I was just starting to be ok with that when I got interrupted, by a guy.

Having observed many agonizing weddings over the years, I know exactly what I want mine to be like, so plans are moving along fairly quickly. I am still taking sewing orders through Thanksgiving, but whether or not I'll have time to post about my projects- that's another question!
